“This is a boat ramp area and free county camping site I visited 1 time for 12 hrs or less them a full 7 days later for an overnight between campgrounds and races. Not for off I-5 on the Cowlitz River. Free dry camping, no hookups and you can stay 3 consecutive nights in a 7 day period between visits.Be aware that it is a boat launch used night and day. Vault toilets. Bring paper and your own water. This is a county facility so no Washington State Campground pass needed. A pleasant place to rest up just 15 miles off the beaten path. I was not staying days, just a night between drag racing track and paid campgrounds camping. Break out the skeeter repellant.”
“Fantastic place to camp. Beautiful and allows overnight 3 days with 7 day absence. Please be respectful of the land and pick up your trash. Heck maybe pick up someone else's trash too, I grab whatever is in my area or while walking dog whenever I'm there. Not that there is a ton of trash here don't get me wrong it's well maintained just noticed a bit more recently.”
“The rest rooms are shitty literally. You're better off popping a squat in the woods. As much money as we pay in licenses you would think WDFW would take better care of the place as it is a popular fishing site but then again this is washington. There is used fishing line and hooks scattered throughout the parking area. Lots of parking.”
