This used to be a hidden gem now it's overrun with paddle boarders and swimmers (even tho every sign posted says its prohibited). Most recently we attempted to spend the afternoon kayaking and the boat dock was occupied by sun bathers that would occasionally jump in for a swim. Zero regard that this is a boat launch. I sincerely hope that they start enforcing the rules or eliminate the restrictions all together so that everyone can enjoy what the area has to offer not just those willing to ignore the rules.

The pathway to the boat launch is very steep. Be careful! Beautiful lake to enjoy. Some people don't pay attention to no swimming signs which is dangerous because of the seaweed. Fishing allowed. My husband caught a small large mouth bass the last time we were there.
