“The biggest issue here is parking. Drano gets slammed during salmon season. Everyone has to park up along the road making it dangerous and difficult for anyone who isn't able to walk very far. You have to cross the highway and walk down a short but steep dirt path. For those who are able-bodied it isn't a huge deal. Definitely difficult with kids but I realize most people don't take young kids salmon fishing. You also have to drive down the road to find a spot to turn around with your trailer to go back and pick up your boat. Bathrooms are about what you'd expect for a place like this. They're like permanent outhouses. Every now and then there's no toilet paper. Garbage is often overfilled, but again, that's because this place is stacked during the high peaks of the season. Launch itself is good. No complaints there other than a little more space to pull forward would be nice. Docks are in good condition and long, providing additional space for the frenzy of boats to tie up while prepping gear or waiting for the rest of their crew. Overall, not the greatest of boat launches, but far from the worst and the fishing totally makes up for it!”
“Great fishing lake despite the name 🤔 Lots of salmon during season. Best with boat or kayak, but lots of shoreline fishing as well. There are two entrances… Take the non-boat ramp entrance and drive along the lake to find your perfect spot. Good Luck!!!!!”
