“A small park with very nice bathrooms and parking. There is a nice boat ramp for kyak, raft or boat launch. Paths are wide and paved. There are access points and structures to give good accessibility to anglers or river watchers. The Lewis River here is stunningly beautiful and there is some access to the shoreline. A wonderful riparian zone is being thoughtfully staged and planted to support wildlife and stream habitat. There are good informational signs and a few picnic tables, each set in a perfect place. There are impressive oak trees providing a wonderful overhead canopy. The park is clean and well maintained.”
“Super relaxing, quiet place to enjoy a Sunday afternoon picnic lunch. We've brought the dogs and even two of our ducks here.😁They all enjoy it. **Update 1 year later** Still enjoy coming here for picnics, although the dogs no longer come and hang out because of the new leash requirement in place. I went swimming one day, and the water was very clean and refreshing! It was sorta shallow, though, so I had to go a ways out before the water was deep enough to make swimming a possibility.”
“Beautiful gem, tucked away. Very well kept, compared to many parks we have been to. Props to whoever the grounds keeper is. Although there isn't a play structure, it's a wonderful scenic spot, water is crystal clear, bathrooms were very clean, surprisingly. Highly recommend if you're just a fisher looking for a great location or a person just looking to enjoy some solitude and soak it all in.”
