reviewsWhat Paddlers Say

On this particular day, April 9th. It was beautifully, sunny a little wind, The perfect day to go to the beach. Pay my $10 for daily pass and then 15 ft away there's a guy in a car with a sign next to him stating that you cannot drive down there it's only construction vehicle's only. Now not only am I handicapped but I also had my 80-year-old mother-in-law,"who isn't too spry" including my own joints. Get out of his car and tell us that we need to go park in the overflow lot just 20 ft away and then walk down the side of the hill well down the trail which was pretty steep if if you're not a little kid or," in the shape of your life" hiker. YOU COULD HAVE PUT A SIGN ON THE PAY MACHINE, STATING THESE FACTS THAT THEY'RE HIKING UP AND DOWN THE HILL I REALLY DON'T WANT TO COME BACK. DON'T MEAN TO BE A DICK RIGHT NOW MY HIP AND KNEE ARE TREATING ME AS SUCH.

Edit: I am specifically talking about the campground and not the whole park in general! Stayed here over the weekend. We got rained on hard for the first 24 hours. The second day was just gorgeous sunshine. Got to play the golds and the reds at the disc golf resort just up the road (super cool, everyone should check that out if you're here, but that's a different review.) Beautiful place. Camp host was super cool, other campers were cool too. No signs of anyone pushing the boundaries of respect. Just felt like a really beautiful place, and I'm so happy I got to be there for a weekend. Snohomish county seems to do their parks right! I wish I didn't have to drive through Seattle proper to get here though 😆

A beautiful spot, but the road down to the beach is closed due to construction, so you had to park and walk down a steep trail with lots of steps. It will be great once the road is open and the construction is finished. We were able to walk down, enjoy the nice dock and beach. Because of the road closure there t many people and it was quite and peaceful.
