“Parked on the side of the road and found a rocky "staircase" down to the beach, so I could get in my cold plunge. While I was walking out of the water, I found a blasting cap. I didn't know what it was at until friends said to let the police know so they could properly expose of it. Apparently, you should not touch them, and should call the police so they can get them. Good learning experience. They are explosive and dangerous and could injure or even kill someone if they exploded. Keep your eyes out and if you see anymore, call 911.”
“Ollalla Bay has become my happy place to sit and enjoy nature. There's plenty of roadside parking in addition to a small lot across from Olalla Market. I enjoy watching all the wild birds, seals, and possibly the occasional Orka. On a clear day, the top of Mt Rainier is also visible. There are no public restrooms unless you head into the market for a snack and / or a beverage. Beach walking is only possible while the tide is out.”
