reviewsWhat Paddlers Say
“Wow. Beautiful park and lake! We met an extremely friendly and helpful park employee named Margaret. She made us feel welcome and accommodated our every need, including allowing us to borrow a rake for our makeshift volleyball court, as well as giving us detailed information on trails only the locals would know about. The park is laid back, and offered a memorable experience. We'll be back. Thanks Margaret!”
“This is a fine State Park. We spent only one night here on a longer RV trip to Canada. Since we reserved our sight online we were a little disappointed at how un level our site was. I used four chocks to keep our trailer from rolling to the road. But other than that, it’s a wonderful location and at Mid-May we experienced no mosquitoes or obnoxious bugs. We will be back.”
“Lots of RVs. Camp spot near bathrooms are closer than I thought. But if you pick sites a little farther it is a great place. Lake is swimable. And the deer are close. I woke up sooner not 15 ft away. It is very peaceful. Loved it justnext time farther away from bathroom.”
