Trask River Park Day Use

“We camped in C39 with our 22 ft trailer & 3 tents had plenty of room but neighbors are close. It is a Very clean campground with river running from behind sites , the site trail to go down in site C40 trail better that C38 but both don’t recommend for Ada but otherwise a good pair of shoes it can be done.Theres no showers that I seen only vault toilets.Nice area for kids to catch craw dad & enjoy the outdoors by water & run . .The day use area there’s a swimming hole.There is a dump station with water & there is water spigots throughout to get water as well .Camp host was very nice they do sell wood it’s $8 for a few pieces.( very dry).The campground itself is no cell service dry camp only but a lot of fun.The nearest place to get ice is right up the road on the right side of the road .”

“Please disregard GPS directions to take a road in the Tillamook Forest dirt road. When approaching from the west, proceed nearly to Tillamook. Then, travel 10 miles east up the Trask River Road. There is only one sign indicating the correct turn onto Trask River Road, and there are no subsequent signs to remain on this road. Improved signage would be beneficial. The campground is modest but appears to be a suitable location for spontaneous camping without a reservation. However, it should be noted that reserved spots are not marked. I recently camped there for two days in September and observed only a few other individuals in the area.”

“It’s a beautiful campground. Lovely trees and good river access. However, it was very over occupied. Let’s bring 20 of our closest friends and be totally loud into the wee hours. There are not enough toilets. The toilets were disgusting. I put my Sandals through the washer to get the ick off, because I don’t even want the soles if my shoes touching that. I had interaction with the host and they did not give a crap about anything. If you like overcrowding and an over abundance of trashy people and really bad toilets this is your place.”
